Midsomer Norton and Radstock Silver Band is a community Brass Band and Registered Charity (Charity Commission No. 1081988) based in Radstock, Somerset.

We provide opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to learn, develop and enjoy brass music.  We support our local community through concerts, performances, events and other community activities.

This is the official website of Midsomer Norton and Radstock Silver Band. The website and the msnrsb.org.uk domain are owned and operated by the registered charity.

Deeply rooted in the local community, there is nothing the band enjoys more than to be out and about entertaining residents and visitors at various fayres, festivals, concerts and celebrations throughout the year. Our wide and varied repertoire includes music from films and musicals and TV, rock, pop, jazz and blues, ballads, classical and marches.

The band also enjoys competing in brass band contests and is continually working to develop our musicianship and musical performance.

We are constantly looking for new members and are always keen to hear from people who would like to join us.   At the moment we are specifically looking for Tutti cornets,  BBb Bass, Kit Drummer and Percussionist to add to our line up.

We also have a thriving Training Band  where we train and develop new players.

The Main Band rehearses on Tuesdays, 7.30 – 9.30pm and Fridays 7.15 – 9.00pm.

The Training Band  runs on Tuesdays, 6.15 pm – 7.00 pm.

Our band room is located at Trinity Hub, The Street, Radstock, BA3 3PL.
